Smarter Home 4U is run by Tony, our Managing Director. His mother, Mary, is our bookkeeper, and Rebecca, our Head of Admin, is Tony’s daughter. Ian joined and completed the team in 2023. We’re a family in name, and in culture.

Twenty years ago, Tony installed a new bathroom for us. Since then, he has fitted a new kitchen, new bedroom furniture, put up shelves, fixed wobbly doors, renovated our daughter’s house, changed windows into French doors, sorted our numerous leaky pipes, reconfigured our 17th-century cottage in the Lakes, converted an old barn into luxury holiday accommodation and sorted out the pointing on our roof. Last month, he came back and replaced that original bathroom, changing it from a well-used family one to a gorgeous place for adults to relax in.
